JB Pictures Design creates graphic design that both works for the client's needs and that is aesthetically pleasing to the client. My job as a designer is to listen carefully to the client and to clearly establish what their needs are. I bill hourly because I have found it to be the best way to save the client money and to arrive at finished artwork with fewer delays and do-overs.
Most of my jobs do not require multiple adjustments and rarely have I missed the mark on the first samples shown to the client. I work transparently with the client: you'll know ahead of time what I'm doing and with each sample submission via email, how long it takes and exactly what I did. This allows us to work precisely towards finished artwork without any guessing or assumptions.
All decisions made that lead to an end result of finished custom art or graphic design are purely subjective. What is appealing to one person can be unappealing to the next person. My goal is to satisfy my clients.

Joseph Browning is a lifelong artist, classically trained in drawing and painting. After receiving his BA degree in Illustration and spending 12 years as a professional fine arts painter and illustrator, Joseph founded JB Pictures Design in 2000 to provide Graphic Design solutions to his growing number of clients needing these services. The conception of the ideas to be utilized in the job go toward determining every aspect of the job. Anything you can dream or imagine I can probably create. I am professionally trained in Digital Graphic Design, Illustration, Drawing and Painting and can handle a large number of techniques, styles, moods and complex combinations of elements or themes. Value Option: If you like a particular artist or era of art, I can emulate and attribute that artist's particular style or that era's general style to your job. There is very little I cannot create or re-create.
It is very important that I establish trust with all my clients in order to have successful outcomes. For most jobs I can provide a "ballpark" cost estimate during the initial consultation. For other more complex jobs, like websites and multi-panel brochures, I can work with a client's budget to gauge how much graphic detail to utilize or not in order to stay within the budget. On all jobs, I work transparently with clients by providing email samples that include the date, the time spent and what exactly I did, so that over time the client comes to understand both the process and how long things take. The client is always aware of how much time is being spent and therefore how much the job is costing as the job evolves.
